Sending Owls

Instead of writing an entire post just to have your character send an owl to another you can create an Owl Post.
Owl post are easy enough to make. Follow these steps:
  • Title your post Owl Post
  • Who is your owl going to? Write this at the top of the post. Example: Owl Post to: Lily Evans
  • Who is your owl from? Write this under the above. Example: From Lucius Malfoy
  • Put all messages beneath a cut. Use the cut tool.
  • Write your message
Owls are private and should only be responded to by the receiver. You must also label these posts. I.e Student Name etc.

Use the label Owl Post for these

Responding to thread with more than one character:

Because you can not post images in comments, CLEARLY state who you are writing for at the top of your post. Simply put: As Regulus Black or Character: Emmeline Vance. This will let people know who you are writing for.

Labels:

Remember to label your posts! Labels have already been added. Click show all next to Labels and you will see all available labels. Click the ones you want to use. Do NOT add labels. Ask the admin and those labels will be added. We do this so that labels will also be added to the Floo Network posts.

Use the Header & Cuts

The header should be the only part of your post that is visible after you post. Everything else must be hidden behind a cut. Use the create tool to make a cut. The header has been placed in the sidebar for your convenience.

Who: Who is in the thread. List these people here. You must include a label for each of them
When: The Date
Where: Where the thread took place
What: What the thread is about. If you don't know when you start it, write it in when you are done.
Rating: PG-13, R, Mature
Notes: Anything that you want members to know. This is optional

Blogging

This IS blogger. If you want your character to have a blog go ahead and make one for them. Personalize it the way you want, rant in them etc. These blog entries should not take the place of posting in the game!!! Post in your blogs all you want, but these blogs will not count toward your activity in the game. You will receive a warning if this gets out of hand.

You can link character's friends blogs to their blog to make it a bit more exclusive. You can also link to blog entries in your owls! It's up to you.
